About Me
I became a lawyer because helping others is a family tradition. My father was an immigration lawyer but also served people as a personal injury attorney as well. And in his dealing with those cases, I saw just how much insurance companies take advantage of people who were injured.
I completed my undergraduate degree in 1980 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I continued my studies at the John Marshall School of Law. I earned my law degree in 1983. From there I started my Chicago area practice in 1984.
The main reason I chose to focus on personal injury cases. I want to help those people where were injured and let down or taken advantage of by these big insurance companies. Most cases people don’t have the resources to ensure they get fair compensation for their injuries. Attorneys level the playing field.
My philosophy in my law practice is simple, I follow the principles of dignity, respect, and the idea that everyone, no matter the circumstances, have the right to have their cases resolved in a court of law.
